Creates Great Whirlpool and separates trubI got the 15 inch swirly to use with my 6.5 gallon foundry. This creates a nice whirlpool for hopstands without having to stir, and possibly introduce a non-sterilized spoon on the cold side of the boil. I also have found that it works well to move the wort while chilling getting everything to pitching temp a little more rapidly. Finally I've not had any issues with hops or trub in my pump, and have had clear transfers to my fermentor as all the hop residue and trub is in a small mound in the middle of the kettle away from the dip tube. I would recommend this as it is competitively priced with other hanging whirlpool arms and you don't have to drill into your kettle.
